Disaster Relief

Monica’s painting, Hush Hush II, was recently used on an amazing collection of international lullabies sung by Opera singer Courtenay Budd. The CD, Sleep is behind the Door: lullabies for disaster relief, is now available! Of the project, Budd says, “The day after Christmas in 2004 the world looked on in terror and helpless desperation, as the Asian Tsunami took minutes to cause widespread suffering that would last for years. My friend, artist Monica Church, and I decided to create this CD, in hopes that the music could provide some measure of comfort and produce income for tangible help.” In addition to the CD, a poster of Monica's painting Hush Hush II is available for purchase to benefit Doctors Without Borders. All profits from the sale of the CD and poster will support domestic and international disaster relief.
