Reading the News and thinking of the T’ang Poets, 2006, is a collaboration between poet John Balaban and Monica. It is a limited edition print, signed by both poet and visual artist.
About John Balaban
He is the author of twelve books of poetry and prose, including four volumes which together have won The Academy of American Poets’ Lamont prize, a National Poetry Series Selection, and two nominations for the National Book Award.
About the print
The text was printed on a Vandercook letterpress and the image is an etching on Rives BFK paper. The etching has both a circular and an outer rectangular embossing. It was hand pulled on a Conrad Press.
